Surveys

I'm 99.4% confident that all of you have seen at least one survey before.

I have "attached" one as my next topic.

It's a very simple survey initially developed in the 1970s by a national computer education organization in the United States, "MECC", the Minnesota Educational Computing Consortium.

One of my students used it in 1980 as part of her honours studies at Otago University in Dunedin, New Zealand.

The student wanted to survey high school principals in order to find out how they felt about the possible introduction of Apple computers in their schools.

Dunedin was then (and still is) a small city. If you like places where it is cool every month of the year, with frequent drizzle (light rain), then go to Dunedin, a pretty city with an always-cool climate.

Let's have a look at the MECC questionnaire. At the time, years ago, I believe it was widely used in North America.
